Getting Ready to Fly

We’re prepping our house and packing to head off to Barcelona (no surprise) on Sunday, 3 May. We have an apartment at the eastern edge of Gràcia for 5 weeks. I head off on 3 June to Milan where I’ll join a group of mosaic artists! A big adventure in a brand new part of Italy— the Piemonte region. But first— spring in Spain!

We’ll have Home Exchange guests in our home while we’re away, so we’re doing a bit of the usual extra prep. Bob finished trimming and preparing our berry canes for another excellent season. We’re pretty excited about that! The photo here shows where the little leaves now, and it will be fun to come home to see what 6 weeks’s growth will do!
